kampong Cham province with 6,208 patients helped by the 19-month China-aided Belt and Road Cataract Blindness Eradication Campaign, which came to an end on Tuesday. Thanks to H E, Leung Chun-ying, vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and chairman of the Belt and Road Hong Kong Center, said that the project has truly demonstrated the spirit of international cooperation and people-to-people connectivity.

Hong Kong’s Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, Mr Edward Yau Tang-wah, GBS, JP visited Cambodia with a high-level delegation of 50 members from Hong Kong. The delegation included members of the HKSAR government team, the Executive Director of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), Margaret Fong, Presidents of major Chambers of Commerce in Hong Kong, the President of the Hong Kong Small and Medium Enterprises Association, leading professional services representatives including the Presidents of the Law Society of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants as well as prominent architects, designers, insurers, real estate developers, entrepreneurs, senior management of Hong Kong’s MTR Corporation, and a group of industrialists who actually specifically joined as they were looking to establish new manufacturing bases in Cambodia.
